How to cleanse crystals
There are many different ways to cleanse your crystals do whatever is easiest for you, here are some examples:
Running water: Water is said to neutralise negative energy within this stone. Running it under your tap will do the trick, however, some crystals cannot be put into the water if unsure the only ones I recommend using this method is Quartz (Amethyst, Clear Quartz, Rose Quartz and Smokey Quartz)
Salt Water: Saltwater has been throughout history known for its cleansing properties if the ocean is easily accessible to you I would recommend going and collecting a jar of it and submerging it in the water for a couple of hours to a few days. If the ocean is not easily accessible then mix sea salt or rock salt into and water and submerging your crystals will do the same thing. However, some crystals cannot be put into the water if unsure the only ones I recommend using this method is Quartz (Amethyst, Clear Quartz, Rose Quartz and Smokey Quartz)
Natural Light: Although people usually bathe their crystals in light of the full moon you could anytime during the lunar cycle just place your crystals and stones before nightfall and plan to bring them in before 11 am this will allow them to bathe in both sunlight and moonlight. However, prolonged exposure to sun and the elements can weather certain crystals such as amethyst can discolour and soft crystals like selenite could erode.
Sage: Sage is known as a sacred plant with an array of different healing properties. Cleansing your crystals and stones in the smoke of a sage bundle is said to clear bad vibrations and restore its natural energy.
Larger Stones: Large pieces of quartz, amethyst geodes and selenite slabs can be a great way to cleanse smaller stones just place them in or on the larger crystal and it is thought that the larger pieces vibrations would remove the bad energies from the smaller ones.
